Our
Ministers
Billy R. Campbell serves as our Senior Minister at First Christian Church in Flora.  He is an Oklahoman (Okie) by birth, although he has ministered for several years in the state of Illinois.  Bill began his ministry with FCC on September 21, 1997.  He came to the Flora congregation with several years of pastoral leadership experience.  Bill has conducted ministries in Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Illinois.

Bill and his wife Sue, who serves in the financial office at FCC, have five children: Linda, Thom, Mike, Danny, and Matt.  Mike, Danny, and Matt all serve as full-time Christian ministers.

Bill graduated from St. Louis Christian College with a Bachelor of Arts degree.  He received a Master of Divinity degree from Lincoln Christian Seminary in Lincoln, Illinois.  He has also earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from Eden Theological Seminary in
St. Louis, Missouri and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the American Bible Seminary in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
D. Robert Clifton is our Associate Minister of Worship and Involvement here at FCC.  His ministry here began on November 3, 1996, when he came to FCC to serve as our Youth Minister.  He came to FCC with experience as a preaching minister in Worden, IL, and as a minister of youth and worship at Community Christian Church in Alton, IL.  A Hoosier by birth (but Purdue Boilermaker fan by the grace of God), he was born in Indianapolis and raised in Darlington, IN.

Rob and his wife Joni, who serves as his volunteer assistant at FCC, have four children: Hannah (age 13), Hunter (age 11), and Harmon (age 6), and Holden (age 4). Joni works as a Physical Therapy Assistant at Lutheran Care Center in Altamont, IL  A Clay County native, she graduated from North Clay High School in Louisville, IL, in 1988 and she attended St. Louis Christian College before graduating with a Physical Therapy Assistant degree from St. Louis Community College.
Rob is a 1991 graduate of St. Louis Christian College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Ministry. He has also attended Cincinnati Bible Seminary in Cincinnati, OH, and Lincoln Christian Seminary in Lincoln, IL.  He is currently writing an MA thesis and plans on completing his Master of Arts degree in General Ministry at LCS in 2006.

Rob became our Associate Minister, shifting his ministry concentration from the youth and children's ministry, in the Fall of 1999. His ministry now concentrates on the worship ministry and membership involvement, as well as assisting with the Christian Education ministry.

Benjamin E. VanHyning was called to serve at FCC as Associate Minister to Youth in July of 2001.  He has served as Youth Minister at First Christian Church in Greenville, IL, as Preaching Minister at Donoho Prairie Christian Church in Texaco, IL, and interim preaching minister at various other congregations throughout Illinois.  He has also served as a correctional officer with both the Federal and Illinois Departments of Corrections.  Ben is originally from Meredosia, IL.

Ben received his Bachelor of Arts in Preaching Ministry from St. Louis Christian College. 
Ben and his wife, Jill, have 5 children: Shani (age 12), Morgan (age 10), and Mitchell (age 7), and Brady (age 3), and Myley (infant). Jill (Neal) VanHyning is originally from nearby Kinmundy, IL.  She attended St. Louis Christian College before receiving her Bachelor's Degree in Business from Greenville College in Greenville, IL. Jill works on the administrative staff at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney, IL.

Ben is responsible for the youth (grades 6-12) and children's ministry (grades K-5) at FCC.
